The Valley of the Roses is magically transformed with breathtaking blooms in May and early June each year when "The Festival of Roses" is celebrated - based on ancient traditions it rejoices the ritual of rose-gathering, many ensembles of authentic folklore and folkdance take part, recreating the joy and exhilaration of forthcoming work in the rose field. The guests of the festival are presented with wreaths of roses and are treated to rose ("gyul") jam, as well as to rose brandy. Then all guests take part in the procession, celebrating youth, beauty and flowers, which goes along the streets of Kazanluk to the main square.

2 Day
After breakfast – sightseeing city tour in the capital - see the ancient center of Roman Serdica the Rotunda from 4thc., St. Nedelya Church, the Russian Church, the National Theater. Take a closer look at the magnificent Alexander Nevski Cathedral. Leisure time for shopping or individual program – visit of the National Historical Museum at Boyana suburb and the Boyana church with unique murals from the 13 century or visit the newest amusement park in Europe – Sofia Land. 3 Day
After breakfast – departure to Etura. Open Air Ethnographic Museum, where master craftsmen fashion beautiful gold, silver, copper, leather and wooden articles right before your eyes from early morning until late at the night. The waft of freshly baked bread drifts across from an old bakery and a tiny coffee shop serves streaming sweet Turkish coffee, amidst lovely old houses & small shops. Lunch at a Tavern in the complex. In the early afternoon – departure to Turnovo . Accommodation at Intetrhotel Veliko Turnovo****. Dinner and seeing from the terrace the impressive spectacle “Light & Sound” at Tsarevets hill.
4 Day
After breakfast – tour of Veliko Turnovo – the Old town, the Mediaeval capital of Bulgaria, situated on the Tzarevetz hill - a natural inaccessible fortress where the royal palace once was, encircled by the deep-cutting Yantra River. Perched one above the other on the rocks, the houses reach right down to the riverbank. Lunch and walking tour at the nearby Arbanassy village– museum. In the early afternoon departure to Kazanluk. Visit of the model of the Tracian Tomb. Accommodation and dinner at Hotel Zornitsa*** /Kazanluk***
5 Day
After breakfast - departure to the rose fields of Kazanluk – the center of the Valley of Roses, for participation in the festivities – gathering of rose petals, ritual dances and songs till noon. Pick-nick lunch at Hadji Eminova House – Revival-style restaurant with cozy garden and traditional cuisine and barbeque. In the afternoon - passing via the golden Shipka church memorial and continue to Plovdiv. Accommodation & dinner at Trimontium Princess Hotel****.
6 Day
In the morning – city tour of Plovdiv – Bulgaria's second largest city, it has a 24 centuries long history and is one of the ancient crossroads between East and West, proofs of its glory are the Roman amphitheatre, the Forum, the Old Plovdiv and its National Revival architecture (from 18th - 19thc).. Lunch at Alafrangite restaurant in the Old town. Continue to Sofia and arrival in the late afternoon. Accommodation at Sofia Princess Hotel**** Farewell dinner at a tavern with live music
