1 Day

2 Day
After breakfast – sightseeing city tour in the capital - see the ancient center of Roman Serdica the Rotunda from 4thc., St. Nedelya Church, the Russian Church, the National Theater. Take a closer look at the magnificent Alexander Nevski Cathedral. In the afternoon - leisure time for shopping or individual program – visit of the National Historical Museum at Boyana suburb and the Boyana church with unique murals from the 13 century or visit one of the newest amusement park in Europe – Sofia Land. 3 Day
After breakfast – departure to the Rila Monastery –the most famous monument of Bulgarian architecture and history – a stronghold of the Orthodox religion and Slavic culture is included in INESCO’s world heritage list. Located in the magnificent surroundings of Rila Mountain at 120 km from Sofia. Lunch in a mountain restaurant with menu of monastery recipes. Continue to Plovdiv via Borovets – the most prestigious and largest year-round mountain resort and ski center in Bulgaria. Borovets lies at the foot of Mount Moussala in the northern part of the Rila Mountain at an altitude of 1350 meters. The resort was founded 100 years ago by the Bulgarian kings who built a palace and hunting lodges there – stop for refreshment and short walk around. Arrival in Plovdiv in the late afternoon. Accommodation at Princess Trimontium Hotel****. Leisure time. Walk along the ‘stargaloto’ – the main sopping street and dinner at Chevermeto Tavern with specialties from the cuisine of the Rodope mountain region with live music.

In the morning – city tour of Plovdiv – Bulgaria's second largest city, it has a 24-centuries long history and is one of the ancient crossroads between East and West, proofs of its glory are the Roman amphitheatre, the Forum, the Old Plovdiv and its National Revival architecture (from 18th - 19thc). Lunch at Alafrangite restaurant in the Old town. In the afternoon – leisure time – optional excursion to Bachkovo Monastery and Assenova Fortress at the foot of Rodope Mountain. 5 Day
After breakfast – departure to Kazanluk – the center of the Valley of Roses, on the way passing via the golden Shipka church memorial. Lunch on the way. Sightseeing in the town of Kazanluk – the Museum of Roses with one of the richest collections of roses in the world, the model of the ancient Tracian Tomb. Accommodation at Hotel Palas or Hotel Kazanluk***. Dinner at Hadji Eminova House – Revival-style restaurant with cozy garden and traditional cuisine.
6 Day
After breakfast – departure to the south of the Black Sea coast. About noon arrival in Nessebar – architectural town museum, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This charming little village is a living monument with ancient fortress walls, many medieval churches, narrow cobblestone lanes and old wooden houses with lines of drying fish hanging from their roofs. Check – in at Hotel ***. In the afternoon – walking tour in the Old Nessebar and lunch on a terrace overlooking the sea. Leisure time. Dinner at a fish restaurant.
7 Day
In the morning – departure to Sunny Beach – Bulgaria’s biggest sea-side resort in the south. Leisure time for beach and shopping – time to relax on the white golden sands or get an exciting thrill at Aqualand amusement park or just enjoy the afternoon in the green shadows of the numerous cafes and inviting restaurants. In the afternoon – return to Nessebar. Dinner & overnight at the Hotel.
8 Day
In the morning – continue to Varna – the Black Sea capital along the panoramic road. Lunch on the way with tasting of wines from authentic wine-cellars. Taste the delicious sorts of dry, semi-dry and sparkling red and white wines – Cabernet Sauvignon, Mavroud, Muscat, Misket, Traminer and many others.Arrival in Varna in early afternoon – sightseeing tour in Varna – the Cathedral, the Sea-side garden, Dolphinarium complex. Accommodation & Dinner at Hotel *** in the center of the town.
9 Day
After breakfast – drive to Aladja Monastery – a most unusual mixture of ancient temple, mosque and Orthodox monastery woven in legends from the mystic past amidst breathtaking landscapes. Leisure time in the afternoon – time for beach and sopping in Golden Sands – the biggest resort in the north part of Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Walk around the resort and dinner there. Return to Varna late in the evening.
10 Day
After breakfast – drive west to the town of Shoumen – sightseeing at Madara’s Horse Rider site, aunique bas-relief hued in the vertical rocks dating from 8 century, a monument included in the UNESCO’s heritage list. Continue by the ancient Bulgarian capitals Pliska and Preslav. Lunch in Lozevo village at picturesque village-style tavern with typical menu for the region. After lunch short tour in Shumen. Accommodation and dinner at Hotel Shoumen****.
11 Day
After breakfast – departure to Veliko Turnovo – the Mediaeval capital of Bulgaria, situated on the Tzarevetz hill, a natural inaccessible fortress where the royal palace once was, encircled by the deep-cutting Yantra River. Perched one above the other on the rocks, the houses reach right down to the riverbank. Walking tour and lunch in authentic restaurant at the nearby Arbanassy village – architectural museum. Dinner and seeing from the terrace the impressive spectacle “Light & Sound” at Tsarevets Hill. Accommodation at Interhotel Veliko Turnovo****.
12 Day
After breakfast – departure to the town of Gabrovo and Etura – Open Air Ethnographic Museum, where master craftsmen fashion beautiful gold, silver, copper, leather and wooden articles right before your eyes from early morning until late at the night. The waft of freshly baked bread drifts across from an old bakery and a tiny coffee shop serves streaming sweet Turkish coffee, amidst lovely old houses & small shops. Lunch at a Tavern in the complex. Leisure time. Accommodation at Hotel Fenerite***. Dinner at the tavern of the hotel.

In the morning – departure to Sofia via Koprivshtitsa – architectural town museum amid the Balkan range mountain. Sightseeing & lunch. Continue to Sofia, arrival in the afternoon. Accommodation at Sofia Princess Hotel****. Farewell dinner at a restaurant with life music.
